While nearly all top HR decision-makers are concerned abouthealth care costs’ effects on employees and on overall corporatecosts, only 16 percent would like to see a federally tax-fundedhealth care system implemented. The data, from the 2011 UBA Benefit Opinions Survey, were consistent regardless ofindustry, employee size category or geographic region. 
The survey also found that 96.9 percent of employers stillbelieve a good benefits program helps draw in quality employeeswhile 93.8 percent believe offering good benefits is key to keepingthose employees. Employers also say they are not fully prepared forthe complex legislative and regulatory requirements placed uponthem.
|Still, nearly 75 percent of the employers said they would likegovernment to require the disclosure of cost and qualityinformation of hospitals and physicians.
