Written by Tom Leduc, an attorney with the Southfield Michigan firm of Holzman, Ritter & Leduc PLLC, which specializes in credit union representation, the book is a user-friendly guide of the ins and outs of regulation. It has also been designed as a one-stop resource for compliance staff members to quickly identify applicable regulations from NCUA basics to more complex issues. In addition to explaining disclosures and language requirements for print, radio, Internet ads, Web sites, applications, signs and newsletters, the guide provides sample copies and visuals with checklists; a glossary of key concepts; and an appendix of highlights from the NCUA Marketing Kit.
