At 112 pages, the July 11, 2001 issue of Credit Union Times has set a new record for the number of pages in a single weekly issue. This issue will be distributed at the 2001 NAFCU Annual Conference and Exhibition. Interestingly, many of the issues in this publication's first year publishing in 1990 totaled 12 pages, a full 100 pages less than this record-breaking issue. The previous record was 104 pages. It was first set with the March 1, 2000 issue distributed at the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference. That total was matched in the February 28, 2001 issue, also distributed at the CUNA GAC. The issue distributed at the 2000 NAFCU Annual Conference and Exhibition was 96 pages. Only through total dedication and teamwork by every Credit Union Times staff member, and an outstanding sales effort by all independent advertising representatives, plus the continued support of over 200 separate advertisers and nearly 10,000 paid subscribers, could this record-breaking issue have become a reality. We hope readers will share in our pride! -
