PLANO, Texas – Aurum Technology has announced its second acquisition in a span of a week. Aurum, which was formed from the sell-off of EDS' community bank processing division, has acquired Morningside Corporation, Kansas City, a provider of core processing, teller, and platform software for community and mid-tier banks. A few days prior to this deal, Aurum purchased Midway National Bank's data center and item processing business. Aurum, a relatively new player in the CU data processing space, has been focusing on attracting credit unions to its core processing system for about a year now.
