WASHINGTON -As the Hispanic population continues to grow across the country, so does the number of adult Hispanics online, according to a study released by the Pew Internet and American Life Project. Fifty percent of Hispanics are now using the Internet. The study was based on a survey in February of nearly 2,000 Hispanics 18 years or older, and found that more of the Hispanic newcomers online are women and 61% of Hispanic Internet users are 34 years of age and under. In terms of Internet usage, the study revealed that Hispanics find the Internet a valuable source of information for things like news, financial data and product information.
