ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Pentagon Federal Credit Union (PFCU) has become the newest sponsor of the Military Times Media Group which consists of the Web sites Army Times.com, Navy Times.com, Air Force Times.com and Marine Corps Times.com. The third largest credit union in the nation with $4 billion in assets and 437,000 members, PFCU's alliance with the news group will allow military members worldwide to have access to timely product and service information, said Frank Pollack, the credit union's president/CEO. The Web sites, which are the online companion of their print partners, provide readers with coverage of breaking news, career, lifestyle, health and interactive resources. First launched in 1993, the sites see more than 4.7 million hits a month. Military Times Media Group is a subsidiary of Gannett Co. Inc., publisher of 98 daily newspapers in the nation, including USA Today, the nation's largest-selling daily newspaper. The company also owns more than 300 non-daily publications and USA Weekend, a weekly newspaper magazine. PFCU joins AT&T, Armed Forces Insurance and Ryan, Mahon & Brown Attorneys at Law as sponsors of the sites.
