Robins Federal Credit Union, Warner Robins, Ga., has raised $21,185 for the Children's Miracle Network. Employees raised funds by selling collectable 50 States Quarters Coin Books and paper hearts in all branches. In addition, RFCU held a parking lot sale and participated in the third annual Middle Georgia Chapter Credit Union's Bowl-A-Thon. The Children's Miracle Network is a charity dedicated to raising funds and awareness for 170 children's hospitals nationwide. All the proceeds will go to the Children's Hospital at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Five Star Credit Union, Dothan, Ala., has raised over $8,800 during its second annual Ladies Golf Classic and Art Auction to benefit the Wiregrass Area Food Bank. Held at the Dothan National Golf Club, a total of 18 teams competed. During a luncheon, 51 art items, which were donated by local artists and businesses were sold during an art auction. Five Star CU has $86 million in assets and serves 76,955 members. Brockton Credit Union, Mass., has donated $500 to help the Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless. The agency helps those less fortunate find shelter. New to the Plymouth area, BCU wanted to continue supporting local community programs. Brockton CU has $729 million in assets and serves 72,400 members.
