AUSTIN, Texas – After five years of working with the Texas Credit Union Division, Linette Poole, deputy commissioner has left to pursue an advanced degree in accounting. Poole's official last day was Aug. 31. Commissioner Harold Feeney said there are now 26 people working in his office, including 18 examiners. Feeney is in the process of conducting a review of the organizational structure of the division, and he said a restructuring was "a possibility." "Given that we have a vacancy now, it's appropriate to first see if we're being as efficient and effective as we can before we hire someone to fill Linette's spot," Feeney said.
