SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Security Service Federal Credit Union has been honored by the Professional Teleservice management Association as the winner of its 2001 Call Center of the Year award. The over $2 billion credit union was singled out for its commitment to employees, members quality service and community involvement. "All the hard work and dedication we've put into our telephone center over the ears has really paid off not only for the credit union but for our members," said SSFCU Global Communications manager Gayle Graham. Other call center nominees included Clarke American, OnPoint-American Airlines and Pacificare. SSFCU serves 437,000 members.
