LAS VEGAS – While a number of major conferences were canceled in the wake of Sept. 11′s terrorist attacks, some did go on, including CU Conferences' Directors Roundtable in Las Vegas where a patriotic director led attendees through a moment of silence, the "Pledge of Allegiance, and "A Toast To The Flag" that left attendees in tears. Floyd Gilbert a director with @lantec Financial FCU, Norfolk, Va. led the opening ceremony through the salute to America. All 300 in attendance held hands to unite and honor the flag and America.
