WASHINGTON-The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has asked credit unions, banks, and others in the financial services industry to search their databases for information connected to the hijackers that toppled the World Trade Center (WTC), demolished a section of the Pentagon as well as crashed a plane in Stony Creek Township, Pa. Nineteen individuals have been identified as hijackers aboard the four airliners that crashed on September 11, 2001.
