COLUMBUS, Ohio – After a two-year hiatus the Association of Credit Union Internal Auditors will debut the 2001 Census Survey, which highlights industry and professional related functions, during its annual conference held October 8 -11 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. "Traditionally the survey has been annually but the last one was in 1998," said ACUIA Executive Director Brad Feldman. "It is a huge member service that auditors have been requesting so this year we wanted to get back on target." The ACUIA offered Credit Union Times a sneak preview of survey results. The survey focuses on four areas of interest: internal audit functions, volunteer structure, personnel & human resources and external audit functions. Surveys were sent to 372 primary contact members in June 2001 and 178 surveys were returned.
