MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Datacard Group, a smart card solutions provider, has shipped its 800th smart card personalization module. According to Datacard Vice President Bob Beer, the module provides card issuers with secure, high- speed smart card personalization capabilities, which can be used for a variety of applications. "Clearly, the smart card issuance infrastructure is rapidly expanding on a global basis as card issues move quickly to capitalize on new market opportunities," said Beer.
