Pennsylvania Credit Union League, Harrisburg, has announced the passing of two former league leaders: former Chairman Bob Neubaum at the age of 91 and former President Joseph Matisko at the age of 87. An active member of the Pennsylvania credit union movement and former treasurer of Hazard Wire Rope Credit Union, Matisko is survived by his wife, daughter, son, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister, and brother. Neubaum helped charter and lead a supervisory committee for the former Harrisburg Postal Employees CU. He served as treasurer of the Harrisburg Consumers Cooperative CU and as vice president of the Harrisburg Chapter of CUs. A Bob Neubaum Scholarship Fund has been established at POSTMARK Credit Union. Neubaum is survived by two daughters, a son, a stepson, five grandchildren, a step-grandchild, six great-grandchildren, and four step great-grandchildren. Anheuser-Busch Employees' Credit Union, St. Louis, Mo., has recently lost a long-time friend and member of its board of directors, Vince Jacknewitz. Jacknewitz worked at Anheuser-Busch for 26 years and served on the ABECU board for 15 years. During his tenure on the board, he held the positions of chairman, vice chairman, treasurer and secretary and was an active member of a variety of committees. In 1998, he was awarded the Blue Diamond by CUNA's Volunteer Leadership Program, which is the highest award possible for directors. Jacknewitz passed away at the age of 63.
