<p>ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Liberty Cavion has entered into a contract with a major telecom provider to host a "warm site" so its mission-critical telecommunication services are available in the event of a disaster. Liberty Cavion now has a redundant telco connection live from the backup data center to the Internet and frame relay network. "Critical business machines, such as a mirror of the bill pay server, a backup e-draft server, and a software staging server, are pre-positioned at the site, and kept up-to-date with frequent backups from the main data center," said Liberty Cavion Chief Technical Officer Jeff Marshall. "This secondary site allows us to consider building and positioning a second, load balancing banking server for credit unions wanting 99.99 or better uptime for their I-banking," said Marshall.
