<p>Michigan Credit Union League, Northville Township, has announced that the MCUL Legislative Action Fund and the MCUL Action Fund political action committees have set an all-time record in their 2001 fund-raising. The final tally for 2001 Political Action Committee fund-raising for MCULLAF/MCULAF is $230,003.35, which represents 115% of the $200,000 goal established in 1999. For 2002, the MCULLAF/MCULAF Board of Trustees has set a combined fund-raising goal for the PACs of $250,000 as it is expected to be the most significant in 50 years for its potential to reshape the political landscape. This is the third year that PAC goals have been exceeded since they were established in 1997. PAC fund-raising goals are achieved through the Grand Raffle, Lapel Pin and candy bar sales, dress down days, Coins of America, and Buck a Year programs.</p>
