<p>OMAHA, Neb. – Credit unions here have donated over 800 recipes to include in Credit Unions for Kids' fundraising cookbook. The cookbooks are part of a statewide fundraising effort that will benefit Credit Unions for Kids. The cookbooks will feature not only the recipes, but also information about Nebraska credit unions and their involvement with the Children's Miracle Network. Children's Miracle Network is a charity organization that raises funds to support its over 170 affiliated children's hospitals nationwide, including Children's Hospital in Omaha. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the cookbook sales will go to benefit Nebraska's children. Each cookbook will sell for $8 and can be purchased through participating credit unions and the Nebraska Credit Union League's Web site at www.nebrcul.org beginning mid-April. "The response to our recipe request has been tremendous," said Laura Polak, NCUL Marketing Director. "Nebraska credit unions' strong dedication and belief in cooperation will no doubt make this endeavor a success."</p>
