ST. LOUIS – Missouri Credit Union System is hoping a three-day seminar will help credit unions better serve small business. Scheduled for March 6-8 at the Millennium Hotel here, the "Serving Small Business Symposium" offers credit unions a practical guide on small business service. MCUS President/CEO Rosie Holub views the symposium as "an educational foundation for credit unions to build a successful plan to serve the entrepreneur" and it fills an important need for credit unions. "Serving small business encompasses much more than lending. To attract quality loans, credit unions need to offer the support services businesses need", said Holub. Steven Abercrombie is the featured speaker and has 20 years experience in commercial services. According to Holub he understands what it takes to build strong relationships with small, independent businesses. Also participating in the effort are Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, and Texas credit unions. For more information about the symposium call (888) 800-6287 or (314) 542-1331.
