Well, things have certainly heated up now.
We're now nearly a month into primary season and almost nothing has been resolved, aside from the fact that Bill Clinton's appeal might finally be fading faster than an exit poller's credibility.
But it comes as a pleasant surprise that among the dwindling Democratic field, Hillary Clinton isn't as unstoppable as she once appeared. In fact, among the surviving candidates, her strongest rival so far – besides herself – is Barack Obama. And is it just pure luck that his health care proposal remains the most realistic on the left side of the aisle?

Two stark differences set the Illinois senator's plan apart from his rivals, and squarely in the realm of fiscal reality. For starters, Obama's proposal does not mandate health care for everyone, only children. But perhaps more importantly, his $65 billion annual bill is a much easier pill to swallow at nearly half that of Clinton's price tag.
Just a couple of things to consider as Super Tuesday looms.
