Benefit Concepts' paperless Reimbursement Benefits Account Administration service is the latest in a string of efforts to make FSA and HRA reimbursement administration easier. Earlier this month, the company launched a service that allows participants to enter claims online and include a scanned substantiation. The forms are immediately available to both the claims review department and the participant. Once approved, claims are paid either in the form of a check or directly deposited into the participant's bank accounts.
Benefit Concepts also offers the option of issuing debit cards to participants which eliminates the need to submit claims for qualified expenses, and a carrier rollover option that allows insurance carriers to submit a claim file which automatically triggers a reimbursement transaction.
