The Society of Actuaries Reinsurance Section has expanded its membership to include professionals outside the actuarial field. The SOA will now accept members including underwriters, claims administrators, brokers/intermediaries, provider network contractors and product development specialists.
"We are excited about expanding membership beyond the actuarial community, and welcome the involvement and participation of all professionals, especially those in the Accident and Health sector, to further the progress and growth of the insurance and reinsurance industry," said Michael Frank of Aquarius Capital, and the Accident & Health representative of the SOA Reinsurance Section Council.
