Members of the National Association of Health Underwriters have named Colonial Life the No. 1 worksite marketing/voluntary benefits company.

NAHU members were asked in January to name their favorite worksite companies and products, and survey respondents supplied their own answers rather than choosing from a list of preselected options.

"This survey shows employers and brokers value the benefits, communication and enrollment solutions we provide," said Tom Gilligan, Colonial Life's senior vice president of national sales, in a released statement. "Offering excellent service is one way we help our customers make their benefits count -- and we strive to exceed those expectations every day."
