WASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court will decide this summer whether to allow generic drug makers to be sued for not trying to get federal regulators to add warnings about potentially dangerous side effects to their drug labels.
The high court on Wednesday heard arguments from PLIVA Inc., which is trying to stop lawsuits against it.
Gladys Mensing says taking a generic drug caused her neurological disorder, but none of the manufacturers included any label warnings.
