Assurant Employee Benefits is promoting its new "FastTrack Return-to-Work Solutions" program as a tool insurance companies can use to improve its claim triage and return-to-work programs.
Designed with Section 508-compliant features, FastTrack can provide motivational support and career services tools for insurance companies in the short-term disability, long-term disability and workers compensation sectors.
FastTracks's own RightMatch™ technology is also featured, which matches a claimant's experience, education and abilities to a large database of jobs, while specialized tracking lets caseworkers monitor and encourage or coach the claimant.

"At a time when our customers' employees feel the most vulnerable, we feel it is important to provide them with the best customer service possible," said Thomas Vargo, Assurant vice president in disability and life claims support. "Implementing this technology will allow us to improve the effectiveness of our return to work program and help those contending with a disability or illness rejoin the workforce faster."
For an example, Vargo says that FastTrack's Career Services Tools Module has many features to help people with new limitations get back to work more quickly and successfully.
FastTrack is available through GettingHired, a job search and networking site for those with disabilities.
Sean Rutherford, GettingHired's vice president for return-to-work products stated, "We are very excited to be able to provide FastTrack to Assurant Employee Benefits, one of the largest marketers of employee benefits in the United States. FastTrack is the first commercially available product designed to automate a large part of the return-to-work process thereby more closely integrating the efforts of the claims examiner, medical personnel, vocational rehabilitation specialist and the injured worker to produce better outcomes for everyone."
