WASHINGTON (AP) — House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi says Democrats won't let people forget how Republicans voted to alter Medicare.
Pelosi said Thursday that during the next congressional break, "we will be hearing from our constituents about the Republican initiative to abolish Medicare as we know it."
She said some Republicans are now "trying to run away from the vote," but displaying a poster of the roll call on the GOP budget that included the Medicare changes, "this is a vote tabulation that you will see over and over again."
