A new book detailing pharmacy benefits and offering advice to human resources professionals has been published by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.
The book, "Pharmacy Benefits: Plan Design and Management," by industry expert F. Randy Vogenberg, PhD, RPh, walks HR professionals through the intricacies of pharmacy benefits and gives guidance and advice on a benefits practitioner's day to day duties.
"As the director of a health care purchasers coalition, I find Dr. Vogenberg's explanations and insight invaluable in my relations with PBMs," stated John Miller, executive director, MidAtlantic Business Group on Health. Miller says he highly recommends the book for professionals who want "to understand how PBMs operate."
