CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Public employees hoping to form a bargaining unit to negotiate with employers will have to have a few more members in New Hampshire starting Friday.
A new law requires a bargaining unit to have at least 10 members. The old law allowed public employers to recognize bargaining units with 3-10 employees.
The unit must show what is called a community of interest, which includes the same condition of employment and same craft or profession.
