Independent agencies Northridge Insurance and Scanlon Guerra Burke will combine their operations creating one of the largest insurance brokerages in Los Angeles.

The combined agency will have premium revenue of more than $100 million a year and about 70 employees, says SGB CEO Jim Scanlon. It will offer all lines of insurance for both businesses and individuals.

"We are very excited about this agreement," Scanlon says. "There are very few independent brokers of this size in Southern California."
