According to a recent Accountemps survey, 33 percent of chief financial officers report that remote work situations, such as telecommuting and working from satellite offices, have grown at their companies over the last three years.
Eleven percent of respondents say remote work arrangements have significantly increased, and 22 percent say they have somewhat increased over the past three years. In the same time period, 57 percent report that there has been no change.
Conversely, 3 percent of respondents say remote work arrangements have somewhat decreased in the past three years while 1 percent say they have significantly decreased. Seven percent of respondents say no remote work opportunities have been available at their companies.
