HARTFORD (AP) — Insurer Aetna and CVS Caremark Corp. said Monday they will offer a co-branded prescription drug benefit for seniors enrolled in the government's Medicare drug plan.
The plan will carry a $26 premium and offer "preferred" generic drugs for a $3 copayment and no deductible when enrollees fill their prescription at a CVS pharmacy or a pharmacy participating in Aetna's Medicare network, the companies said in a statement. Participants also will save $10 on copayments for brand-name drugs and non-preferred generics.
The plan is available in 43 states and Washington, D.C.
