Job confidence grows in Seattle

Eighty-three percent of Seattle workers are at least somewhat confident in their careers while only a small number feel concerned, according to a recent survey by public relations firm Weber Shandwick and KRC Research.

Eighty-three percent of Seattle workers are at least somewhat confident in their careers while only a small number feel concerned, according to a recent survey by public relations firm Weber Shandwick and KRC Research.

The survey, State of Seattle, finds that few residents report being in better shape financially compared to 2010; however, 66 percent of respondents are more optimistic about their finances for 2012 and even as far as five years from now. Respondents say the health care and technology industries could see the most growth over the next five to ten years.
