Although employers are having difficulty in finding specialized talent and staying competitive, 43 percent of employers continue to recruit for potential job candidates before positions are even available, according to a new CareerBuilder survey.

Among the respondents, another 72 percent say continuous recruiting has lessened their time-to-hire, and 41 percent of respondents say it has cut an average of at least three weeks. Another 41 percent say continuous recruiting has reduced cost-per-hire, and 22 percent report a savings of $1,000 or more per hire.
