Single, childless women in their 20s are more likely than men of the same demographic to graduate from college, suggesting women could be a large talent source in the future, finds a study by Inforum, a network for professional women, and Sphere Trending, a consulting and forecasting firm based in Waterford, Mich.

Women are coming out of this recession successfully as they continue to make advances in education, earning power and new business formation, the survey finds. Women with “personal businesses,” which have no employees, are also growing in number, especially as more people are working remotely.
