Seventy-one percent of CEOS are more confident regarding the economy than they were from last year, regardless of Europe's troubles, according to the CEO Confidence Survey by Polachi Inc.

The survey also reveals 58 percent of respondents expect to hire this year, and another 18 percent are considering adding employees in 2012. One respondent even plans to increase the company's headcount by 100 employees in 2012 while another expects a 15 percent to 20 percent increase. A third respondent anticipates adding 1,500 new employees for a 10 percent to 15 percent growth.

"We've seen considerable improvements in the economy, and our survey reveals that companies are expecting the rebound and economic growth to continue," says Charley Polachi, partner at Polachi. "Businesses and CEOs are feeling more and more confident and, thus, adding people to their payroll to support their business growth."
