Securian Financial Group created RetirementGPS for consumers and their financial advisors to guide their retirement income planning efforts.
The RetirementGPS site includes an introduction to the retirement income planning process, videos on annuities and the role they can play in retirement income planning, strategies for maintaining wellness and financial security in retirement, and longevity trends for men, women and couples.
"Everyday priorities prevent many workers from creating comprehensive retirement income plans and retirement savings will be inadequate for many people," said Kerry Geurkink, director, Individual Annuity Marketing, Securian Financial Group. "The good news is that it's never too late to achieve a level of financial security in retirement. It all begins with planning."
