Christina "Gigi" Filippi is a call center sales manager in Hendersonville, Tenn. After establishing an employee-run wellness program in her office, she has lost more than 97 pounds.
"I work 60 hours a week. My biggest weight loss challenge has been being able to find the time to concentrate on myself. I am a single mom, and I always felt like it was selfish to concentrate on me," Filippi said in an HBO documentary film called "The Weight of the Nation," which premiered Monday night.

In the movie, Filippi's co-workers said for lunch, they used to typically order fast food. Now they go out and walk two miles during their break.
The film, which depicted the story of "Gigi," also offered five wellness techniques for the workplace that can help workers get motivated to lose weight and stay healthy >
1. Make information available
Post nutrition guidelines and information about where to get a healthy lunch near the office.
2. Provide healthy snacks and make sure drinking water is available
3. Celebrate milestones
A motivating strategy is to celebrate achievements such as healthy food choices, miles walked and weight lost.
4. Physical fitness challenge
These challenges can help everyone motivate to move more.
5. Create a friendly environment
A friendly environment will help people of any weight fee comfortable to participate.
