DOL distributes more than $20 million for vet job training

The U.S. Department of Labor is distributing 90 grants of more than $20 million, which are being awarded through the DOLs Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program, for job training and support services for more than 11,000 veterans.

The U.S. Department of Labor is distributing 90 grants of more than $20 million, which are being awarded through the DOL’s Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program, for job training and support services for more than 11,000 veterans.

“Americans who have served their country should not find themselves without a home,” says Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis. “The grants announced today will help these heroes find good jobs and take us one step closer to the goal of ending veteran homelessness altogether.”
