As an effort to get the new era of openness in 401(k) investment and management fees out to a larger portion of the American public, the two key figures in the Department of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Administration will be fielding calls and online inquiries on Sept. 13.

Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis and EBSA Assistant Secretary Phyllis Borzi will be breaking down participant-level fee disclosures and discussing the practical impact of the now-enacted fee disclosure legislation from 2 to 3 p.m. EDT on Thursday, Sept. 13.

"Retirement Savings: Saving More for Tomorrow by Paying Less in 401(k) Fees Today" will be open to both the public and professionals and will address the objectives of the fee disclosure changes and provide advice to participants on maximizing their retirement accounts and investments.
