Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America extended its financial literacy programs with BestPrep and Junior Achievement targeting Twin Cities' youth. The donation extends the relationship through 2015 with each organization receiving $100,000 per year for a total of $600,000, as well as volunteer hours by Allianz Life employees.

In 2010, Allianz Life launched a financial literacy council made up of 10 executives from across the company to assist BestPrep and Junior Achievement in bringing financial education to Minnesota school children.

Since the programs began, more than 700 Allianz Life volunteers have worked with hundreds of K-12 students in the hands-on programs led by BestPrep and Junior Achievement in classrooms, business camps, and email mentoring.
