Worker confidence grows in September

Employee confidence grew by 0.8 points to 52.4 in September, which was 7.6 points higher than 44.8, the years low, in September 2011, according to Randstad's Employee Confidence Index.

Employee confidence grew by 0.8 points to 52.4 in September, which was 7.6 points higher than 44.8, the year’s low, in September 2011, according to Randstad’s Employee Confidence Index. 

The report also shows that employees are feeling more confident regarding the futures of their current employers, and they have higher levels of job security than in August. This is supported by the fact that 56 percent of respondents say they don’t anticipate searching for new positions in the next year, and 45 percent of respondents are confident they can find new jobs.
