Job growth for recruiters hit 12 percent in September with 14,000 jobs available, which outpaces prerecession levels, according to research by WANTED Analystics.

Job growth for recruiters hit 12 percent in September with 14,000 jobs available, which outpaces prerecession levels, according to research by WANTED Analystics.

The growth in 2012 is also up 12 percent from September 2011 and 29 percent from 2010, the research finds. As new technologies become available, job requirements for recruiters is changing as they use these mediums for their daily functions and to find job prospects. Along with traditional skills, new skill sets that are in demand for recruiters are negotiation and social media skills. Each of these skills has gained in demand in the last year. In fact, based on the number of job ads, strong negotiation abilities is up 13 percent from September 2011 while social media requirements have increased 52 percent in that same period.
