Though other reports suggested employers and consumers, for the most part, aren't prepared or well-informed about health care reform, research from Eastbridge Consulting Group tells a different story.
According to a new Eastbridge report, most employers (63 percent) said they feel "very much informed" about the requirements of health reform. More than one-third said they continually monitor the law and its changes.
Eastbridge also asked how likely the participating employers were to eliminate their own health benefits and send employees to buy individual coverage through the new PPACA health insurance exchanges when they're available.

Most respondents—at 37 percent—said there is "little to no chance" they'll send employees to the exchanges.
About 20 percent said they expect to send employees to the exchanges for health and dental benefits, and 20 percent said they weren't sure.
Eastbridge polled more than 700 employers nationwide. The employer sizes ranged from just 10 to thousands of employees.
