NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks are edging higher in early trading on Wall Street, not enough to erase the market's loss for the week.
The Dow Jones industrial average edged up four points, just 0.03 percent, to 15,502 shortly after the opening of trading Friday.
The Standard & Poor's 500 index was up a point, or 0.1 percent, at 1,699.
