You may already know that it's important to optimize your LinkedIn profile. But your presence on other platforms may also need optimizing. Take, for example, Twitter, where many of your prospects can be found. According to Business Insider, "The fastest growing demographic on Twitter is the 55- to 64-year-age bracket." Because of the sheer number of companies currently on Twitter, it is important to stand out against the crowd.
So before you start tackling that in-depth Twitter marketing campaign or paying to promote your tweets, make sure you have your bases covered. Here's a checklist for optimizing your Twitter profile:
1. Profile picture. Your profile picture/avatar is going to be the first thing people see. Use a company logo or be creative and use a picture of a person or character. Just make sure that whatever image it is, it represents the company as a whole.
