Ann Slotwinski, a vice president of the TPA unit at John Hancock Retirement Plan Services, has become president of the National Institute of Pension Administrators. 

Slotwinski had previously served a four-year term as a member of the board of NIPA. 

"Ann has been an asset to the NIPA organization for many years," said Laura J. Rudzinski, executive director, NIPA. "We look forward to her leadership as we continue to develop plans and programs that will grow revenue, increase productivity and streamline processes for our TPA business owners."

Slotwinski joined John Hancock's parent Manulife Financial in 1982. She assumed her present position in 2012, overseeing John Hancock's TPA relationships.
