Enroll America is now unenrolling.

The organization established to market the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act to the masses is running low on funds and, as a result, cutting 100 staffers, reports the news source Politico.

Enroll America was designed to help those seeking Obamacare coverage cut through the jargon, red tape and myriad forms so they could sign up on the insuranceexchanges. As Politico notes, the entity wasn't supposed to be an ongoing service, but more of a marketing machine to amplify the original "get out and get your insurance" message.

Funders are moving on to other higher priority health concerns, Politico said, forcing the staff reduction. Left are 100-plus staffers who will promote exchange insurance for the 2016 enrollment period.
