I'm so excited to be speaking at the Benefits Selling Expo in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona May 19. It's been a long winter for those of us in the Northeast so I'm looking forward to thawing and learning.

As the national president of Women in Insurance & Financial Services, I get bombarded by carriers and managers going through gender balancing initiatives to help them with tools and strategies they can use in their efforts to see women increase their presence in this industry beyond 14 percent.

At the expo, I'll be hosting a “how to” session where you will walk away with concrete techniques on:

1. How to attract more women into your practices. I will help you with the interview process, setting up niche markets and setting up women to be successful in your business.

2. How to develop strategic partnerships with women. I will walk you through connecting with a female circle of influences and adding them into your personal board of directors to generate referrals.

3. How to close more sales with women. I'll give you some insight into the female thought process and give you some closing techniques you can start using today.
