John Hancock Retirement Services, a division of Canada-based Manulife, has launched new participant websites for all product lines.

Using input from advisors, plan sponsors, and plan participants, the websites were redesigned to improve participant interactions and to provide an intuitive experience.

According to the company, one-click navigation, tailored education and tools designed to help participants take data-driven actions on the path to retirement have been incorporated into the new designs.

The changes are intended to provide all participants in John Hancock plans, across all market segments, a more user-friendly interface, easier access to tools, fewer clicks required to take action and a simplified navigation experience.

The move comes in the wake of the acquisition last April of New York Life’s retirement business by Manulife Financial Corp. The New York Life acquisition was combined with John Hancock Retirement Plan Services.

Manulife has principal operations in Asia, Canada and the U.S., operating as Manulife in Canada and Asia, and primarily as John Hancock in the U.S.

Assets under management and administration by Manulife and its subsidiaries were $663 billion as of September 30.

John Hancock Retirement Plan Services, LLC offers plan administrative services and service programs through which a sponsor or administrator of a plan may invest in various investment options on behalf of plan participants.
