GOP moves ahead on ACA repeal despite weak support

The House of Representatives is expected to vote on the health bill as soon as Thursday -- the seven-year anniversary of the Affordable Care Acts signing by Barack Obama. Yet its not clear that there are enough votes to pass the bill.

(Bloomberg) — House Republicans are pushing toward a vote next week on their bill to repeal Obamacare and replace it with their own programs, even as holdouts resist pressure from House Speaker Paul Ryan and President Trump to give the proposal enough support to pass.

The House of Representatives is expected to vote on the health bill as soon as Thursday — the seven-year anniversary of the Affordable Care Act’s signing by Barack Obama.
