Americans want ACA fixed, not replaced

The Trump administration will have a battle on its hands if it persists in trying to “repeal and replace” the Affordable Care Act — and not just between Republicans and Democrats, or between conservative and moderate Republicans. The American people are overwhelmingly opposed to efforts to repeal or derail the ACA.

The Hill reports that, according to the Kaiser Health Tracking Poll, what 75 percent of Americans want instead is that the current administration “should do what they can” to make the ACA functional. Just 19 percent of respondents are in favor of Trump taking steps to make the ACA fail instead.
